Peacefully after an inspirational life that touched the world, surrounded by loved ones on Friday, January 4th, 2013, Zackery Gorrill of London on the day after his 17th birthday.  Cherished son of Troy and Joanne. Dear grandson of Agatha and Tom Senese and Pam (Kenny) and Brian Gorrill. Dearly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Sadly missed by his dog Lola. Zackery’s family wish to extend a huge thank you to nurses Christine, Karen, Denise, Anna, Kathryn, Janis, Carly, Katie, and Dr. Manchanda, N.P. Lisa Pearlman and Dr. Schreier. Also a very special thank you to the students and staff at Clarke Road Secondary School:  you guys are amazing.  Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 8th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.    In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Zackery are asked to consider the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

Joanne and Troy!!! May you find comfort in knowing that Zackery has reached his eternal home where Jesus prepared a mansion for him. I believe that he is running and shouting and Praising God. I am so pleased to have had my daughter Traci and Grandson Ty know Zack and his parents. Ty enjoyed his friend .I have heard Zack had done so much for others to make them realize being handicapped is not to be ignored . The numerous friends he had at Clarke Road school. What some did by visiting him was fantastic!. Some feel because Zack couldn`t talk it meant nothing but that was not true. He enjoyed his friends and the integration. Ty is the same. Music room is his favourite place. I want to thank Troy and Joanne for being there for Ty and Traci and I hope they realize we are a phone call away to help you through this terrible ordeal. Zack was a strong willed young man who came through so many operations that both Drs and others thought would be his end but he came through them. Now he is gone from this Earth but the memories he has left with so many people is great. You did a great job for many handicapped people Zack. They will be noticed and talked to instead of being ignored because of you. I know you are no longer in pain. Your spirit is still here and will carry on.... Love you Zack..Maureen and Claude

There are no words to express the loss of your son Zack, I can only imagine the grief of loosing a child but a child as special as zack even more, It seems to me that Zack not only changed your lives by being your son but everyone that met him in some way, that was a very special gift for everyone.
