Peacefully at Glendale Crossing, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, December 8th, 2012, Yvonne Meert, of London, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of Peter. Loving mother of Jenny and her husband Gregory Evans of New Brunswick, and the late John Meert (2000). Dear mother-in-law of Janet. Much loved grandmother of Debbie Williston (Rick), Robert Meert (Judy), Susanne Meert, William Evans (Jeannie), and Peter Evans (Kathleen). Yvonne will be sadly missed by several great grandchildren, extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be conducted at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Wednesday, December 12th, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Yvonne are asked to consider the L.H.S.F. – Cancer Centre.

Jammer dat we er niet konden zijn voor de uitvaart van mijn meter.Ze was de oudste zus van mijn vader en ook al wonen ze aan de andere kant van de oceaan,toch was de band met haar broers en zussen heel sterk.Ze genoten elke keer dat ze naar Belgie kwamen van de hereniging met hun familie hier en het afscheid viel ook altijd weer zwaar.Heel veel sterkte nonkel Peter,Jenny,Greg ,William en Peter.Moge meter rusten in vrede .
