Suddenly, with family by her side at Victoria Hospital, London on Saturday, December 28, 2024, Yvonne Sedley passed away in her 75th year. Beloved wife of 54 years to Gerald “Gerry” Sedley. Dear mother of Paul and his partner Stephanie, Richard and his wife Lisa and the late William “Bill” Sedley (1998). Cherished grandmother to Josh and Spencer. Dear sister to Judy Elliott and Thomas “Skip” Elliott.
Yvonne was born on July 6, 1950, to the late Thomas and Marguerite (Bessey) Elliott.
Yvonne’s greatest joy came from her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. She loved sitting on the front porch and talking with neighbors. She would pick up a book and read it in a matter of days.
Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will take place at Woodland Cemetery, London, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in Yvonne’s memory are asked to consider the Ronald McDonald House Charities Southwestern Ontario.

Holding you all close in my heart and prayers. I have cherished every day of our friendship since way back to when Phil first started at Pollocks and Yvonne took me under her wing to make sure I met his co-workers and their spouses. An amazing friend since then and that friendship holds so many wonderful memories.
