Wm. Bruce Mower

On Tuesday, August 14, 2018, Bud peacefully passed away surrounded by his family at Victoria Hospital, in his 95^th year. Beloved husband of the late Marion Isabel Mower (nee McCreery) for 63 years. Devoted father of Nancy Pigram (Larry) and Linda Hunter (late Jim). Loving grandfather of Michael Pigram, Kimberly Rumford (Steve), Daryl Hunter (Danielle), and Kelly Hunter Jackson (Kevin). Proud great-grandfather of Jack Pigram, Cassidy and Brayden Rumford, Hannah, Noah and Gabriel Hunter, and Chloe and Reece Jackson. Bud was born in Iowa and raised with his siblings: Earl, Maxine and Jim. As a young married couple he and Marion bought a farm east of Harrietsville in 1952. He worked as a Production Manager at Strathroy Foods until his retirement. Bud and Marion moved to London in 1977. He was a faithful and devoted husband, father and grandfather.  Friends will be received by the family on Friday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. Private family interment at Dorchester Union Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bud are asked to consider a charity of their choice.
