Wilma Jean Kehoe
November 25, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Kehoe, on Thursday, November 25, 2021 after a brief illness. Loving wife of the late Harold Kehoe and predeceased by daughter, Lynn Kehoe. She is survived by brother, Ken Booker (Edith) of Halifax, NS and sister, Gayle VanNinhuys, Port Colborne, ON. Also survived by granddaughter, Jennifer Lirette (Ed), great-granddaughter, Harper Dottie Lirette; and son-in-law, Robert Ballantine. Wilma will be sadly missed by a number of nieces and nephews.
Wilma was a retired long-time teacher for the LDCSB, most notably at St. Paul’s in Oakridge. Born in Welland, Ontario, Wilma began teaching at 18 years of age in Ridgeway. After marrying Harold, she taught in Niagara Falls and Fort Erie, before moving to London in 1967.
Special thanks to Dr. Dorli Herman and all of the healthcare workers who have supported Wilma over the years to help her maintain her independence.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, we suggest memorial donations may be made to #clearthelist to help Canadian teachers supply their classrooms, or a charity of one’s choice.

My sympathy to Gayle, Ken, Bob, Jennifer and family. Although over the years we drifted apart physically, know Wilma was always in my heart and thoughts as a "sister". Uncanny for sure, I never made her fruitcake recipe for 30 some years and did the day she died. Peace to you Wilma & to your family.
I taught with Wilma , at Saint Paul's , for many years. I remember when both she and Harold visited us in White Rock BC. We kept in touch, over the years, with cards and phone calls. In fact we spoke at length only a few days before her sudden death. Wilma was an excellent teacher, and a mentor to many. I'm very proud and thankful to call her my friend. My sincere condolences to her family, whom she adored. May her memories bring you peace and comfort . Marilyn Egerton

Our sincere condolences to you and your family.
My sympathy to Bob, Jennifer and family. I have many very fond memories of Wilma and Harold (and all the Kehoe family) from when they would host the annual summer Kehoe Cup. We all had many great weekends there. She was a very lovely and giving person and I will miss her very much Sister-in-law Norma and the BC Kehoe clan
