Peacefully at University Hospital on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, Mr. William “Bill” Johnston of London, in his 93rd year. Husband of the late Audrey (Walker) Johnston (1994). Loving father of Ron (Chris), Paul (Michelle), Ian (Iberia), the late John (2017) and daughter-in-law, Wendy Johnston, all of London. Dear brother of Allan (Carol Williams) Johnston, also of London. Proud Grandpa to Jeff, Andrea, Nick, Crista, Tasha, Taylor, Jacob, and 10 great-grandchildren. Bill’s family wish to express their gratitude to the staff and caregivers at Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care, 4th floor, for 20 years of love and care. The funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Private family interment Monday at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bill are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
