William ‘Bill’ George Russell

Passed away peacefully at his home in London on Monday, April 9, 2018, in his 69th year. Much loved husband of Elizabeth (Liz) Russell (née Isaac) of 44 years. Loving and proud father of Meagan Van Holst, Matthew Russell and his wife Connie. Devoted papa of Brianna, Jocelyn, Quinn and Emma. Predeceased by his parents Norman and Jean Russell and his brother John Russell. The family wishes to thank our friends and the health care professionals for their compassion and support. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at WEST LONDON ALLIANCE CHURCH, 750 Wonderland Road North, London. Interment at Oakland Cemetery, London. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bill are asked to consider the Christian and Missionary Alliance to the work of Matt and Connie Russell through West London Alliance Church.

My sincere condolences, thinking of your family during this difficult time. Bill was a great neighbour, hard working and always working on there landscaping projects with Liz and maintaining his home beautifully.
Dear Meagan, I am so very sorry for the loss of your dad. I know how difficult this journey has been for you and your family. I hope your memories of love, laughter and life well lived lighten your heart and sustain you during this sad time.

I worked with Bill for a few years after first meeting Bill at WLA in 1984. It was a true pleasure to have worked with him and the opportunity to get to know him better.
