William ‘Bill’ Frederick McDonald

Suddenly, at home on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, William Frederick McDonald, of London, in his 78th year. Forever missed by his partner, Diane Perrin; and his children: Sherrie Scott (Dwayne), Tracey Griffeth (Steve), Michelle Lambert (Kirk), Travis Perrin (Paula Lefave), and Blaine Perrin (Rachelle). Beloved grandfather of Connor and Paige Scott, Mark and Brad Griffeth, Britni Hegedus (William), Mathew Lambert, and Bryce Perrin; and great-grandfather of Emma Hegedus. Bill is also survived by his brother, David (Connie) and their sons, Jeff and Justin. Bill was a firefighter in London for 35 years. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a funeral service will be conducted on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 4:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Registration and proof of vaccination will be required to attend the visitation and the service.

Diane, Travis, Brice, Paula and family, We are very sorry for your loss. Bill seemed like such a kind and gentle man. He had such a pleasant and helpful way about him. We can easily picture him tending the BBQ at Travis's 50th birthday party so attentive to the needs of his guests and wanting an day awesome for T. Please know you are in our prayers. Having known him since elementary school days and having enjoyed our friendship over the last 65 years or more, he will certainly be missed.
