London has lost an amazing man. I learned so much working with Bill at the Christian Churches Network of London. He had a passion for Jesus and a passion to see all people use all their skills and gift to serve Him. I know he helped many people in front and behind the scenes. He was a person of vision and commitment. bill is fondly remembered in our hearts. Our prayers are with all of you.
Our hearts are breaking for all of you. Bill touched our lives in so many ways. He was a great friend to Mom and Dad. We are so sorry for your loss. Love to you all.
I am very sorry for your loss. Bill was an amazing man that I had a lot of respect for in both business and Christian outreach. Having had a variety of interactions through the years with Bill, I always looked up to him and respected his input very much. Bill was a wise business man with a lot of compassion for others. A role model.
Bill was a dedicated and loving husband, father, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather. He also was an astute business man with sound integrity, a mentor and a friend to many people in London. Bill was remarkably generous and always willing to be of help to others wherever he could. He also leaves a legacy of being of significant help to several Christian charities in our community. I had the privilege of working for Bill for more than 45 years. We attended a men's Bible Study together for many years and shared a strong and long-lasting friendship. He will be greatly missed. What a comfort it is to know that my dear friend is at home with his Lord. My prayers, and those of my wife, Mae, are with Loretta, Kerry, Bill and Andy and the rest of the family in their time of sorrow.
I have such wonderful memories of having the honour of working for Mr. Bethel during the initial stages of my working career. He has and will always hold a special place in my heart. The world was made a better place because of his presence. My prayers to Lori, Bill, Andy and the rest of the family.
Dear William, Lori and family, I just read the announcement from CCNL about your Dad. Please be assured that your family are in my heart, thoughts and prayers as you mourn his loss. May our Risen Lord Jesus comfort you during this time of sorrow with the sure knowledge that He is always present with those who are in need. With my deepest sympathy, Bonnie Pember
My deepest sympathy to the Bethel family. Mr. Bethel was a wonderful man and will be missed by all who had the pleasure in knowing him.
Uncle Bill was a lovely human being who I will remember fondly. It has been an honour to have know him. With deepest sympathy, Ken Dawson

Sorry to hear about Bill's passing. I worked with Power to Change as a young staff at Western for 9 years, and Bill was such an blessing. Not only were he and his wife generous donors, but he was always quick to offer an encouraging word and ask how things were going. His moral support gave me a lot of confidence in those early days of campus ministry. Praying for the family.
