Peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Sunday, December 9, 2012, Mr. Wilfred Klopp of London in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Enid Klopp (2011). Loving father of David Klopp (Judy Campbell) of Dorchester and Mary Klopp of London. Dear grandfather of Kate Duddy. Survived by sister Dolores Risk of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Predeceased by siblings Beatrice Haist, Harold Klopp, Howard Klopp and Edith Yungblut. Wilfred was an instructor with the Canadian Women’s Army Corps. during WWII. He was a member of the London Lions Club for 63 years and owned and operated Klopp Cycle from 1945-1975. Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday, December 17, 2012 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. where a Lions Remembrance service will be held at 2:00 p.m., immediately followed by the funeral service. Interment, Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Wilfred are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.

We would like to pay our respects to the family of Wilf Klopp. We have fond memories of a kind man who kept so many kids in bikes for so many years. He played an important part in our community and he will be remembered and missed.

My sincere condolences to the Klopp family. Sorry I cannot be with the Lions today as we are out of town. Lion Wilf was truly a Lions Lion. We will miss him and we will not let the light grow dim. Lion Tim Blackburn PDG Lucan & District Lions Club.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Mike has many good memories of his first bike from Klopps Cycle. I enjoyed meeting both Enid and Wilf in their last few years at LRR. Dave and Judy, you were so supportive to them both.
