Wence Nenicka
November 12, 2023
Heartbroken to announce the passing of the love of my life.
Wence Alexander Nenicka at the age of 66 years old, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023, with Wendy by his side, at Parkwood Institute.
Wence handled his brief battle with cancer as he did everything in life, with courage, determination and dignity.
Leaving behind to grieve, Wendy, his soulmate, his spouse and his strength to the end. The bond they shared was a testament to true love and mutual respect.
Wence will be missed by his big extended family: Gary (Diana), Brian (Diane), Paul (Karen) as well as all of his special nieces and nephews who made a difference in his life. Survived by his siblings Bob and Christina and predeceased by his parents Elisabeth and Wenceslaus Nenicka.
Wence walked this journey at home peacefully surrounded by love every step of the way. He was blessed with many friends and family in his life. Their support, their love and the countless messages every day meant everything to Wence. All that knew Wence will miss his special gift of his listening ear, his guidance to many, and his strength and encouragement he offered to all he loved. Wence’s presence will be missed beyond measure and never forgotten.
As per Wence’s wishes cremation has taken place. Private interment at a later date. A special thank you to Dr. George Kim, Dr. Jeff Spence and the Parkwood Palliative Care Nurses for the wonderful care they provided. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Wence are asked to consider a charity of their choice.
“If love could have saved Wence, he would have lived forever.”
Rest in peace my beautiful husband.

Wence my dear friend, you will be forever missed. I’m so very grateful for the many years I’ve called you friend. Throughout those years we have shared so many good times and as a result I’m blessed to have so many fond memories. I know you are now at peace and in a much better place. Rest peacefully my friend, until we meet again. Cheers, your friend Franco.
My friend Wence, we have known each other since grade school even back then you were a proud person with great respect. As time moved forward your self expectations rose to higher levels, always dressed neatly, your respect even stronger as you treated people as you would like to be treated yourself. You were a proud man to the bitter end as you left with dignity and a sound mind . All your friends and Wendy will miss you deeply but you will not be forgotten God Speed my friend until we meet again🙏
