Walter inspired me to draw and paint as a child, and over the last few years he helped me get back into painting again (Thanks to Jana to help us get in contact again). He loves Tom Thomson's approach to painting outside in the wilderness and I was trying to encourage him to come out paint again. I am listening to Roger Millers "Walkin in the Sunshine" which I know Walter would like too. He is great friend.

To the Family: My sympathy goes to all of you during your time of grief. May the "God of Comfort" (Psalms 83:18) comfort you and help you through this difficult time. Psalms 119:50, 76. To the Family: Very sorry for your loss. It is a time like this that we can turn to the comforting words found in the Holy Bible, at Daniel 12:2, " And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake..." how strengthening that promise is, our love ones can live again! That promise is also confirmed at Acts 24:15, " ... there shall be a resurrection of the dead..." I want to offer my condolences to Walter's family. I hope your many wonderful memories of him will give you some comfort at this difficult time. Many people have found comfort and hope from the promise made in Revelation 21:3,4 where it states that a time will come when sickness and death will be destroyed in God's own due time. I hope this loving promise will provide hope for you also.
