Walter Emmanuel Simler

Peacefully at home, with family by his side, on Saturday, April 4th, 2020, at the age of 90, Walter was welcomed into Heaven. He will be greatly missed by all, especially, the love of his life and wife for 64 years, Matilda, who he emigrated from Malta with to give greater opportunities to their children. Loving and always supportive father of the late Pierre (2005) and Louise Simler, the late Marisa (2003) and Curtis Pyatt, and Isabelle Simler. Adored grandfather of Shannon and Sasha Simler, Don-Erik, Kailyn and Wesley Pyatt, and Jasmine and Kiana Simler-Fuoco. New great-grandfather to Ryder Constance Camara. Predeceased by his sisters Lena Zammit and Mary Testa, and brothers Louis and Joseph Simler. A Celebration of Walter’s Life will be held at a later date, so that family and friends can share in honouring what a blessing he was to each of the lives he touched with his love, faith, friendship, generosity and humour.
