Peacefully at his residence on Thursday, January 25th, 2018, Mr. Walter Allen Elliott of London, in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Bernice (Patten) Elliott. Survived by his children: Doug, Donald (Hilda) and Bill (Marlette). Dear brother of Bob (Margaret) of Glencoe, Keith (Kathy) of Dresden and Lois Sararas of St. Thomas. Also survived by nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Walt worked for over 30 years at Elliott Marr Wholesale Grocers. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London where a celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Walt’s family wish to express sincere thanks to support workers Holly Abram, Joyce Weaton and all those who helped make Walt comfortable during his illness. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Walter are asked to consider the London Regional Cancer Program.
