Chip was a fucking asshole ! He tried to fuck every client he had in London at Competition. He is now in the ground . RIP
My memories are many and varied of my friend Chip. As a fellow Toyota Dealer but from his home town of Brockville I knew when Chip was in town because he always came to visit. We got together on many a new car show or "Toyota Convention" to talk business or just have a beer. (I was always giving him heck over his smoking) Our trip to Japan with Mary, Chip and my wife Fran will remain a warm memory, one which I will cherish. I missed Chip when he sold his dealership & retired. I missed him more when he stopped coming to Brockville. I am sure he is in that big car dealership in the sky just working on cars. God Bless you Chip.
When I was a kid Mr. Comstock was one of the only adults I would have deemed "cool". He had those intangibles that you don't see in many people, especially people with great success. He was kind, humble and funny and even as a child I could see the level of respect there was for him every time he walked into the dealership. He will live on as an example to all of us on how to treat people on a daily basis and also how philanthropy can enrich our lives. Mr. Comstock we will miss you and I know my Dad already misses walking into his office and seeing you sitting theré waiting to talk business.
I mourn Chip, as our friend, classmates, fellow ex-cadet and fraternity brother. 4934 Lubomir Kuzych-Berezowsky
I have many fond memories of Chip. When I first started working at the dealership many years ago, it was very apparent he was extremely passionate about the auto industry. He was well respected within the Toyota dealer group and I am sure they will miss him. We will all miss him. He was a funny and witty man. A person I feel priviledged to have known.
Condolences to the family. Chip was a great classmate at RRMC and RMC. Doreen and I will attend the internmet in Brockville. If there is anything we can do, please contact us on email or at 613-359-6255.
Condolences to the family in the loss of their loved one. As a raw recruit at Royal Roads, Chip was my roommate for a few weeks during which time he taught me a few "street smarts" on how to handle the seniors and their discipline which I appreciated very much. It was always a treat to chat with Chip at reunions to remember the great times (and the not so great) we experience as Cadets. He was a loyal, generous classmate who always had a freindly greating for all. He will be missed.
Deepest regrets to the family for their loss. Comrade Chip will be missed by all members of the Delaware Legion who enjoyed his companionship since transferring here. He endeared himself to all of us who were fortunate to get to know him in that short period of time. We will remember him!
Sincere condolances to Chip's family. I first met Chip at Sunday School in Brockvile. We met again later at Royal Roads in 1956 and were classmates there and at RMC Kingston where we graduated in 1960. Chip was a good friend who will be missed by his many other friends and classmates.

Condolences to the family. Chip was a classmate at RRMC and RMC and a co-member of the Royal Roads swim team. Chip was unbeatable in the backstroke. Our coach was Drill Seargent Jones, the ex-coach of the Canadian Empire Games swim team. Sgt. Jones would walk up and down the side of the pool, bellowing out orders at us like he did to the recruit class on the drill square. One day we had had enough. We got out, picked him up and threw him in. That's how we learned that he could actually swim. At RMC, Chip had access to a big car from time to time. With a small group of friends we would drive to Alexandria Bay, NY, to have a couple of drinks in a bar. In Canada we were below the drinking age, which was 21 at the time, but in New York we were legal and felt like big shots. Chip was always on the go, whether it was proposing a great deal on a car, or going to the Ceeps (CP Hotel Pub) in London. He was a great friend and will be dearly missed.
Many fond memories of a lovely, gentle man and classmate at Royal Roads. Quiet and thoughtful it was always a pleasure to be with him.
Sincere condolences to Chip's family and friends. Chip was a supporter of St. Joseph's and I had the pleasure of thanking him and chatting with him by phone several times over the years. He was humble and gracious about his generosity and a delight to speak with.
