Peacefully, on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at University Hospital in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy “Dot” Varley (2010). Loving father of Kathy Schaffer and her husband Ken, and Peter Varley and his wife Joanne. Dear grandfather of David (Kathlene), Melanie (Ben), Mark (Jane), Michael (Jody), Kristen (Antonio) and Christopher (Kristi) and great-grandfather of Seth, Ava, Breann, Kyah and Kyland. Survived by sister Margaret Lewis (late Jim) and brother Grant Varley (Bev). Dear friend of Ruth and Tom Dean. Special thank you to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at University Hospital for their care and compassion. The memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. with visitation two hours prior. Rev. Gregory Brawn officiating. Private interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Saddened to learn yet another old golfing friend is playing another course along with numerous others. Our conviction is that Bruce's wonderful life's memories will console and replenish you in these difficult times .

Bruce was such a fine gentleman and golf friend. We were so very saddened to hear of his passing and convey our deepest condolences to his family. Peter will really miss him.
Sorry to hear of Mr.Varley's passing...he was a true gentleman and will be missed.
