Peacefully and surrounded by her family at Victoria Hospital, Vita Cifelli passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019, at the age of 69. Beloved mother of Adele (Chris) Black and Riccardo (Cheryl) Cifelli. Loving Nonna of Justinn, Austin, Abigail, Dante, Lucca and Alessio. Also loved by her siblings Jack (Roberta), Tom (Dawn) and Emanuela (Guido). Predeceased by her brother Francesco (2018). A special ‘thank you’ to the nurses and staff of the 7^th floor Oncology Unit at Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00 ~ 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 ~ 9:00 p.m., with parish prayers at 6:45 p.m., at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., at ST. MARY’S PARISH, 345 Lyle Street, London. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery and Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Vita are asked to consider the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.

Adele and Riccardo I was very blessed this last year to truly re-connect with your mom. We got to spend some special time together. Weekly phone calls made me feel close to her and her journey. She will remain a true inspiration to me. The way she lived this very challenging illness was truly amazing. Not once did I hear despair. She was so strong in her faith in God in her love for you and your families and accepted God's will with true grace. Be proud of the woman she was.
