Vera Elmina McDougall

Vera Elmina McDougall (née Pratt) passed away suddenly at University Hospital in London, Ontario on Friday, May 2^nd, 2014.  Vera was born on July 13^th, 1921 in Woodstock, Ontario and was a resident of Toronto, Ontario for most of her life.  She lived her last nine happy years at Chelsey Park Retirement Home in London.  Vera was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin and Elsie Pratt, and by her husband of 60 years, Stanley.  Survived by her children:  Sandy Sayers (the late Robert), of Houston, Texas; Karen Cameron (Fred), of Thorndale, Ontario; and Allan McDougall (Barbara), of Innisfil, Ontario.  Also survived by her grandchildren:  Raymond Cameron, of Winnipeg, Manitoba; Brian McDougall, of Mississauga, Ontario; Scott Sayers, of McKinney, Texas; Bill McDougall, of Oakville, Ontario; Stacey Benton, of Lubbock, Texas; Jeff Cameron, of Thorndale, Ontario; Mike McDougall, of Brampton, Ontario; and Tricia Nevill, of Ingersoll, Ontario; and by 18 great grandchildren.  The memorial service will be conducted at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday, May 5^th, 2014 at 3:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior.  Interment of ashes beside her husband is to take place at a later date in Toronto.  Donations in Vera’s memory made to the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated by the family.
