Our condolences Mrs Lustenberger and family. We were childhood friends, Tobi was kind (and competitive) growing up we played sports. Our MacKenzie park family has lost a dear neighbour and the heavens, gained an angel. Lorraine Woods & Family
I've just now heard of Tobi's recent death. Murray, my deepest sympathy to Cole, to you and to all the family. This hit me hard, perhaps because Tobi was young. My prayer is for God's peace for all of you as you work through this difficult time.
Dear Murray, Cole & Family, I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Tobi. I’m so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in all of the wonderful memories. -Lori Cane (Sunningdale Optometry)
Murray and Cole. I was deeply saddened to hear of your moms passing. I live in South Carolina now riding horses in my retirement. When I owned Highland Green Stable my favorite person to ride with was Tobi. We talked a lot about business, but also discussed a myriad of diverse topics as we enjoyed our ride. When I needed a business plan to build the large arena Tobi helped put together a document that secured the financing for the project. Without her Highland Green would not have been nearly as successful as it was. She was a wonderful person. Hold tightly to your memories!
Dear Cole; I remember both you and your mother fondly. You were in my grade 2 class at Matthews Hall. You were a great addition to our class team, taking on jobs responsibly, being a good friend to all, and being a leader in our academic programme. Your mother impressed me on several occasions. During our first parent-teacher interview, I arrived a few seconds after Tobi. I was crestfallen, as the posters I had had printed for the Charitable Concert at the Aeolian Hall that I was organizing had just been delivered to me, and they contained a mistake. Your mother took immediate interest in what I was doing, and offered to help fund the rental cost of the Aeolian Hall. She also volunteered to ask some of her business friends to help. On another occasion, I was having lunch with a girlfriend at the Black Swan restaurant, I think it was called. Unnoticed by me, your mom was there with some friends/colleagues as well. When I asked for our bill, the waitress informed me that it had all been taken care of. It turned out that your mother had paid for both my friend and I. I went to thank her and, of course, she was nothing but grace herself. She will live on in my memory, Cole, as a thoughtful, helpful, and generous human being. I am thankful for having had the chance to know her, a little, and be a teacher to you. hugs; Karen Folkerson-Walton

I am so sorry for Tobi’s family’s loss. She was an incredible bright light in this world. We worked together 35 years ago for Canada Trust. She was an incredible influence of encouragement and empowerment for me at that time. She also commissioned a painting from me. Irises, water and trees. I remember she asked me the most beautiful questions about painting. The world has lost a great and wonderful person. ❤️

Tobi was Robin to my Batman, Thelma to my Louise. We wore short bangs, rode matching bikes with a banna seat and high handle bars, and made up our own games with pop bottle caps. We both hated camping, got our hair permed in high school and had a crush on David Cassidy. Over the years our closeness ebbed and flowed. We grew out our bangs, got married and had kids. Tobi was a powerhouse ! She was a formidable business woman with a heart of gold and the courage of a lion. Murray and Cole, she loved you fiercely. Today, with heavy heart, I hang up the Batman cape. Tobi, my sister, my friend, I will miss you.
Sending our deepest condolences Murray and Cole. From the first moment of meeting Tobi years ago, her genuine smile, her warmth and energy was infectious. She will remain with us always.
Tobi was a remarkable woman who excelled in so many ways. I will miss her kind words and friendly greetings. It was a privilege to work with her at Canada Trust and get to know her socially at the Club. Her smile truly lit up a room!
