Thomas F. Crawford

July 17, 2018

Suddenly on Tuesday, July 17th, 2018, in his 32nd year. Loving partner and best friend of Ashley Warner. Cherished step-father of Bentley. Adored father of Grayce. Beloved son of Paula McShane (Paul Lusted). Survived by his grandfather, Paul McShane. Dear brother of Sarah Crawford (Ryan Hall) and step-brother of Shawn Lusted (Crystal Squires) and Matthew Lusted (Sarah Aqua). Missed by his nieces and nephews: Olivia, Kaiden, Daniel, Sophia, Quinn, Ethan, Sydney, Lyla, Gracie and Hannah. Also missed by his in-laws, extended family and friends. We will miss his handsome smile, laughter and sense of adventure. Tom was the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Especially his friends, who he considered his family. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, July 23rd, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Tom are asked to consider the Canadian Mental Health Association.

To the Family: Very sorry for your loss. May you find comfort, strength and hope in the promises found at Isaiah 33:24 and Acts 24:15. We long to see their fulfillment soon. For more comfort please visit our website: jw.org and view the faith strengthening video: Is There Hope for the Dead? 🌼

My deepest condolences to the Family. Please remember this is not what God intended for mankind to suffer and to die. In the Bible, there are recorded 9 resurrections. This includes the resurrection of Jesus Christ himself. He promised to resurrect those who have fallen asleep in death and Thomas could be part of the resurrection, please read John:28, 29 and Acts 24:15. God loves you and your family. PEACE

~ Joseph / Tilley Sitko

Rest in peace, my first son. God knows His own. Of course, you are now home. 'And it seems to me you lived your life Like a candle in the wind, Never knowing who to cling to When the rain set in.' (Elton John) I will never forget those things, little and large, that you did so very well. I will always mourn which was to be, and now can not be. Amen. Perpetual Love, DAD

Dear Paula and family, Words seem inadequate to express the sorrow felt by the loss of your son. Please know you are in my thoughts and heart! Rhona

I am sad to hear about this tragedy. Trust that God cares for us and he would never bring us suffering. A kindly scripture I like is Psalm 34:18 "Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." He promised that in the Paradise, we will have the prospect of enjoying life without end, free from all problems, accidents, and sickness. Even our loved ones like Tom will be resurrected. (Psalm 37:9, 29; Revelation 21:4) Thus, while you await the day where peace and happiness will flourish; where no one will be sick and die; may you lean on God to give you the strength you need in the days ahead.

My Friend Paula, My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. I wish that I could take away even a little of your pain. God chooses the Angels that he wants in Heaven. However, it causes so much pain and sadness to those left behind. Love from your friend Leslie

~ Leslie Haylow

Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard, but very near. Still loved, still missed, very dear. I hope peace has found you. Rest easy my friend.
