Born March 6th, 1930. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at Glendale Crossing in London, on Saturday, February 15th, 2020. June was predeceased by her parents, Kathleen and Samuel Roy Oliver and her sister, Bonnie. Beloved wife of Leo for 62 years. Adored mother of Kathy (Jean Lapointe), Lori (Doug Spry) and Lisa (Dan Mellen). Cherished Nana of Shannon (Sean), Marissa (Johnny), Alex, Lindsay (Ever), Carley (Josh) and Faith; and great-Nana to Olivia, Caden, Nathan and Alessio. June devoted her life to her family, becoming an expert seamstress, knitter, cook and baker, and becoming fondly known as “the pie lady”. A special thank you to all of the staff on the Lambeth Unit at the Village of Glendale Crossing for their loving and attentive care. A memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of June are asked to consider Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Canada (JDRF).

To Leo, Kathy, Lori, Lisa and all the family, Richard and I were deeply saddened by the passing of June. June always had a smile and a kind word whenever we met. Rest assured that she will forever be in the hearts of all who knew her. Please accept our condolences and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of sorrow.
