Suzanne Lawson

Passed away peacefully, at London Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, July 28, 2019, at the age of 68, after a courageous battle with cancer. Suzanne is survived by her husband Peter, son Chris, daughter-in-law Krista and granddaughter Harper. Sue leaves behind her mother Lorraine Vallee, sisters Lorilee Lasenby (Bob), Kim Vallee, Michelle Daaman (Henry) and brothers Jeff Vallee (Yvonne) and Peter Vallee (Marg). Also survived by her brother-in-law John Lawson (Laurie). Sue will be missed by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Terry and Ron as well as her stepfather Gerald Vallee, and father Wilf Deeks. Sue was a long-time London Life employee of 37 years, retiring in 2008. She loved to travel in her retirement years, particularly cruising to Europe, the Caribbean and Alaska. She also enjoyed golfing with her many RiverBend friends. Throughout her life, Suzanne was a vibrant, sociable, caring and generous person, always putting others first. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and family. The family would like to thank Dr. M. Vincent of the London Regional Cancer Program, and Dr. A. Whitton of the Juravinski Cancer Centre in Hamilton for their care. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Sue to the London Regional Cancer Program or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A memorial celebration of Sue’s life will be held at RIVERBEND CLUBHOUSE, on Sunday, September 8, 2019, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., with a service to begin at 3:00 p.m.
