Susan Mary Warren-Tapper

April 25, 2018

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the age of 61. Born April 9, 1957 in Matheson, Ontario. She was the daughter of the late Mary Warren and Ron Warren. Sue always dreamt of being a mother and a wife and was blessed with two sons, spending her days travelling between hockey tournaments and basketball games – a constant supporter of her children. The family enjoyed numerous trips to Hawaii and day trips to Toronto to watch the Blue Jays. Sue received enjoyment by surrounding herself with family and friends, and her illuminating sense of humour brightened every room she walked into and everyone she interacted with. The family home was never without a pet and Harley, her loyal companion, never left her side. Sue dedicated over 30 years working with Dr. Rondeau, making her memorable to work alongside of and always gave and received unwavering support and love to her colleagues. Sue is lovingly remembered by her husband of 33 years, Ken; sons Kody (Kenzie), and Nathan (Constance); brothers Paul (Sandy), and David (Trudy); sister Marion, and predeceased by her sister Joycie. Sue will also be forever remembered by loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Jacob McGee, Patricia, Stephanie and the other members of the London Regional Cancer Program care team. At Sue’s request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the family home. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Sue are asked to consider the Run for Ovarian Cancer, London, Ontario.

It was with deep sorrow to hear of the passing of Sue, for the few times we met, she was always lovely and quite funny. The guidance she gave our daughter Constance and her son Nat was phenomenal. Sue, for the almost mother-in-law, would have been fabulous, her humour, her strength was nothing short of amazing. We know she will be greatly missed by her family, please accept our condolences.

What awful news. Sue was a great lady, kind beyond measure and the rock of the family. I loved her humour, marveled at her strength and was always delighted by her generosity. She always made me feel warm and welcome in her home. Kenny T, my heart goes out to you and the boys.

I am so sorry to hear of Sue's passing. My heart goes out to the Family. I met Sue at the Dental office. When Sue heard I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer she was there to help me. Gave me encouragement and hope that I will get through it. Thank You, Sue.

Sue was our angel here on earth! So many great memories we have from the dating, working together, holidays, baseball and having children! So grateful for all the times we shared! Sue fought her hardest and had the love and support of her heroes, Ken , Kody and Nathan! Sue will be missed but we know she is close by and is sitting with the Angels at the pool of Heaven.

To the Family: My sympathy goes to all of you during your time of grief. May the "God of Comfort" (Psalms 83:18) comfort and help you through this difficult time. And may his promises found at John 6:40 and Acts 24:15, " ... there is going to be a resurrection..." provide you with strength and hope. We long to see the fulfillment of these promises soon.
