Susan Forster

September 4, 2013

FORSTER, Susan – It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Susan Forster on Wednesday, September 4th, 2013 in the Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital, London, in her 56th year. Best friend and beloved partner of Tom Caldwell. Caring and loving mother to their three children, Miranda, Alena and Nolan, all at home. Susan was so deeply loved by her siblings Richard (Beth), Jim (Cheryl), Doreen (Ron) and Bruce (Cathy); Tom’s mother Ettie Noseworthy; and siblings-in-law Cathy (Herb), Bonnie and Ross. Cherished aunt to her many nieces and nephews to whom she was also a dear friend. Predeceased by her sister-in-law Dianne. Susan loved to spend time with her dear neighbours and friends who have shown their love and support these past weeks to her family. Special thanks to her colleagues at McFarlan Rowlands Insurance where Susan spent many of her working years. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the memorial service will be conducted on Monday, September 9th, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Susan are asked to consider the Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital.

Always remembered, forever in our hearts.

I have so many wonderful memories of Sue. Standing on top of castles and mountains in Ireland. Working and partying hard in our youth and watching her become a beautiful mother of 3. I have lost a little bit of myself with her passing but gained so very much by having met her in the first place. My heart felt sympathy goes out to Tom and the kids and the entire Forster family. Sincerely, Kelly, Peter, Brendan and Codianne Wilson

Miranda, Alena and Nolan, Our deepest sympathies to each of you on the loss of your Mom. Your Mom loved you all so very much and was deeply proud of each of you. She first became a friend to me way back when you were just a few months old Miranda and over the years, while we became busy with our own lives, she would still take the time out to contact me. She was always good at keeping in touch and making sure that others knew she was thinking of them. I am so sorry for your loss. Tom, Our deepest condolence and heartfelt sympathies in your time of mourning. There are no words that can take away your sorrow but know that we are thinking of you and praying for you at this time. To the family of Susan, I'm so very sorry to hear of Susan's passing. I met Suzie as a neighbour when we were just toddlers, and grew up beside her on Forbes Street. This is such a tragedy! Please know that I'm very sorry for your loss, and my thoughts are with you all at this time.

Dear Alena, Miranda, Nolan & Tom - we are so very sorry to hear the sad news of your Mom's passing. Your Mom held all of you in her heart very deeply, and through the years (when we used to see each other more!) she was always sharing stories of all of you. She was very proud of each of you. And Tom, we are so sorry for the loss of your Sue - there really are no words to express to you our heartfelt sympathy that we all feel for you. Know that you are all deep in our thoughts. I worked out of the same office as Susan and even though I was not in that often she would always take the time to come over and speak to me about how things were going and asked about my children. Miranda,Alena and Nolan-she spoke often about you and how well you were doing in school and in general-she was proud of you all and thought the world of you. Tony

I first met sue at a golf tournament for middlesex appliance where I worked with Tom . She was very nice to speak with and invited us back to her home for a swim and drinks. Over the next few years I spoke to her at company gatherings. She always asked about my kids and how I was doing while going through my hard times. I would like to send my condolences to Tom and the family, she will be missed. ....... Tyler
