Passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital, on Friday, October 25, 2019 with his spouse, Louise, of 33 years at his side. He will be missed by his sons: Kevin (Kristin) and Dean; his grandchildren: Kamille, Karis and Hannah; his brother Gerald (Mandy); nieces: Denise (Rui), Jeri and Andrea; and his great-nieces and great-nephew: Stephanie, Matthew and Sydney. Also remembered by his sister-in-law Eveline Davey and her daughter Allyson Davey-Kramer and their families. Stu had a fulfilling career with IBM for 33 years. His true joys in life were “Betsy”, his 1966 Impala SS convertible which never saw rain, snow or sun; his love for gardening, and keeping a weedless lawn. Stu went in peace knowing that “Betsy” will be loved and cared for by his long-time friend, Ron Houghton. The family would like to thank Dr. Dave Dixon, the medical teams from LHSC, Varone (PSW), and Stu’s many friends who helped and cared for him throughout his journey. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Stu’s Life will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 3:00 p.m., with visitation from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Stu are asked to consider the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario or the London Regional Cancer Program.

Millions of memories will never erase with Stuart. I was a son before a support worker. Each and every moments were spent with fun, sharing cookies and ice-cream. So kind and lovable person all the time, no matter what circumstances. I was a cookie monster of him. He loved working in backyard and when I ask to come inside because of cold. He said "If you are real Canadian, you won't feel cold. You come outside with me." Being an international person, He taught me many lessons for my career and betterment of life. His contribution is the way beyond my imagination. Miss You !!
The memories of working with Stu back in the days at Canada Trust have come back like a tidal wave. The smile on his face and the joy he had applying his discipline -- he reached for perfection. He taught me, and I learned, a lot. The kid from Madoc will never be forgotten. My condolences to the family.
Stu joined IBM with my late husband,Ron in the early 60's. They quickly became best friends at the Sage site in North Bay. We were honoured to have him as Best Man at our wedding in 1965. He has always kept in touch, a true friend. I will miss his teasing and his calling me "Jude".I know you and Ron are busy catching up. Thank you Stu for your cherished friendship.

I will always remember the 1st time I met Stu, you could feel the kindness and warmth of his soul. I will miss the many funny emails and especially the beautiful email Christmas cards every year. I looked forward to them and will sadly miss them. I will miss you STU. With love Roxanne.
I am deeply saddened by Stu's passing. He was a kind and caring man and it was a pleasure spending time with him. His dry sense of humour and his ability to be brave even in his last days was truly amazing. My condolences go out to Louise and the family.

We have only known Stu for a short time but in the last few months have enjoyed our visits. I know that he also enjoyed seeing and playing with Aidan and I hope we were able to bring some peace and joy into the latter days of his life. Our condolences go out to Louise and the family.
I had the pleasure and honour of working alongside Stu for many years at Canada Trust, basically growing up with him and it was truly a pleasure knowing him and calling him a friend as I grew up. I will never forget losing track of my young daughter at one of his birthday parties and eventually finding her covered in his cake which she had found hidden, everyone, especially Stu had a great laugh at this. His beautiful car could not have gone to a better place with Ron, it will be cherished forever. Our condolences to Louise and the family, he was a great man.

I am so sad to hear about Stu. He was fun to be around, generous and quite a tease. I enjoyed my visits to London.He always had a twinkle in his eye. I will sincerely miss him.My deepest condolences to Louise and family.
