HOWARD, Stephen – At University Hospital, on Thursday, December 16th, 2010, Steve Howard of London in his 89th year. Loving husband of the late Jessie Howard (Matthias). Dear father of Ron (Marg), Steve (Anne), Lily (Stan), Murray (Shirley), Art (Judy), Jerry (Karen), Linda (Mitch) and father-in-law of Betty. Also survived by his brother Donald. Steve will be sadly missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and by his friends from Cherryhill Mall, especially Joan Richardson. Predeceased by his children Bob and Beverley and grandchildren Tiffany, Rick, Joey (Ron) and David. The family would like to thank the 2nd floor staff at Chelsey Park and the 6th floor staff at University Hospital. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 20th, 2010 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with his granddaughter, Rev. Laura Jones officiating. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Steve are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or The Lung Association of Ontario. Sorry for your loss, Linda and Mitch. We are never completely prepared for this time in our lives. Mourn your loss but then remember the times of joy you have enjoyed with him and celebrate his life.
