When I saw Steve's obituary in the London Free Press I could not believe it. What a shock it was. I worked with Steve at the faculty for many years. He was always helpful when it came to answering my numerous questions about writing code in the early days of website development. Steve, you will be missed.

Dear Kim, I am so sorry about the sudden loss of Steve from your life. I know that this will leave a terrible hole that will be difficult to fill. I worked with Steve for many years and so appreciated the frequent help that he gave me as we all struggled to make the shift to working on computers. I was very lucky to be just down the hall from him and was very spoiled that he came whenever I called. My favourite story about Steve that I often tell people is the time that he came to fix one of my computer problems and all he did was put his hands on my hard drive and the problem disappeared! I am so sorry for your loss Kim. Myself and Steve talked all the time when we saw each other outside. He was more than a neighbor to me, he was my friend. I can't tell you how I hoped Steve would snow blow my driveway when I was tired, he always did, he cared deeply for his neighbors on the street. Mary, he was our mom and dad's first gtandson and how proud they were when he arrived.
