I am sorry for your loss. Lyle and Maryanne were always my older, and much wiser, cousins. I spent a lot of time at Aunt Anne and Uncle Stan’s house down the street when I was growing up in Ingersoll. I ran into Lyle several years ago at a dog park. It was wonderful to talk to him after so many years. Rest in peace, Lyle.

We have many fond memories of Lyle. Having inherited a bunch of young nieces and nephews when he married Pat, Lyle was a very good sport in letting us tag along wherever they went. Lots of happy times going on trips to Niagara Falls or the beach in the back of his very cool 60s era Volkswagen beetle. In later years, extended family camping trips and cottage vacations where his campfire coffee was second to none, summer backyard parties and Christmas celebrations at Pat and Lyle’s. He was a wonderful uncle who we’ll always remember for his kindness. Happy trails, Lyle.

I will forever keep in my heart all the cherished memories I have of Lyle as my son, Adrian’s grandfather and his love for his family and all the children he and Pat cared for over the years. Lyle was the kindest and sweetest man I had ever the privilege of knowing. Forever in our memories and always in our hearts. Rest peacefully Lyle

I will never forget the house parties at Lyle and Pat's house when I was a child. Everyone dancing in the basement, playing cards, showing old movies on the projector and camping at Port Burwell. Best childhood memories. You will be sadly missed uncle Lyle.
