Dear Mary and extended Harrison Family: What a great photo of Shirley's last adventure! I am so delighted that she was able to enjoy this special time away with Fred and Dave. Shirley 'did it her way' and she found the strength to keep up with her boys! She was a dear friend to my Mum (Bobbie Henderson) and I am sure they are enjoying some good golf stories now 'up there'! My thoughts are with all of you, Heather

Our family ties go back to the wartime when an exchange of letters began. Shirley's brother, Fred came to the UK and got to know my mum and nan. I remember my mum telling me that Shirley's mum sent food parcels, they contained teabags and my mum had no idea how to use them so cut them open and used the leaf tea inside! Shirley was extraordinary, a great spirit and was a beautiful lady. She was loved by all who knew her. She holds a very special place in my heart, she's been there for forty years and will remain there always. I'm thinking of you and sending so much love.
