Ruthven Cameron Dunn

DUNN, Ruthven Cameron – Unexpectedly at Victoria Hospital, on Saturday, November 13th, 2010, in his 91st year passed away peacefully into his next life.  Predeceased by his wife Marion Eleanor (1995) and his 2 young daughters Mary Louise (1955) and Janet Eleanor (1953).  Survived by daughters Leslie Ellen McFalls (D’Arcy) and Nancy Lila Turbitt and his 5 grandchildren Andrew Cameron, Sarah Ellen, Jeffrey Douglas, Leanne Lila and Rebecca Joan.  Special friend of Irene Fortner.  Cameron graduated from Queen’s University in 1942 with a degree in Civil Engineering. After serving his country as a bomb disposal expert and then as a flight navigator, he worked for the township of London before establishing his own consulting firm, RC Dunn & Associates.  Due to his long-standing membership at the London Hunt & Country Club, Cam was made an honourary member. Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday November 18, 2010 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m.  Cremation has already occurred with a private family interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society in remembrance of his late wife Marion and his mother Eleanor would be greatly appreciated by the family.
