Ruth Minerva Watts

Embraced by a legacy of love, devotion and admiration shared between mother and her daughter Valerie, Ruth, in her 95^th year, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. Cherished wife of the late Roy G. Watts (2014). Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Alice Childs, Sister Demetria (‘Auntie’), uncle Bill and aunt Alberta, and her friends Aileen Rouw and Norma McCulloch. Ruth fondly remembered many of her relatives, friends and neighbours ‘gone too soon’ throughout her lifetime. Survived by her son David, and her granddaughters, Vanessa and Saraphina. Visitation will be welcomed on Sunday, Mother’s Day, from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. In accordance with Ruth’s wishes, a private interment will take place at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ruth are asked to consider National Service Dogs or a charity of their choice. Heartfelt appreciation extended to Dr. Jamie Wickett for her compassion and care for both Roy and Ruth.
