RIP Ruby Lee: we know you will be singing with the choir of angels in heaven. We first met Ruby when Ron joined a band called the Suburbans in the mid 1960's. They played a lot at the Orchid lounge in East London, CFB Clinton, the RCAF station in Centralia, and many other gigs in SWO. (Even our wedding in 1967) Ruby made a guest appearance at Pierce's Orchestra/Pierce family band 90th reunion in 2016 and brought down the house.
We met Ruby and Russ in Cuba and a beautiful friendship was formed, they came to our home and we visited their home, Ruby sent us her CD and we will play it often and remember the good times, she was very proud of her family!! She will be entertaining in Heaven!!
