Ross Eldon Good
November 12, 2021
People will remember Ross in different ways: we all knew how important his family was to him; his love of hard work from an early age but also a love of parties; his wonderful dental skills; he was so happy in his wood working shop and very skilled; oh, what a whistler he was…; he was such a great bridge player, he got the nickname “The Wizard”, and he loved to teach the game; cheering for the Leafs (maybe this year??) and the Blue Jays; he always came back with a delicious feed when fishing; golfing was his passion for many years and loved the competition…
Ross and Louise (nee Kirk) were so lucky to have had 54 years of marriage. His children and their spouses made him so proud; Lisa Wittur (Bill) and Scott Good (Jennifer Schofield) along with their amazing grandchildren: Mason Wittur, Alexander Good and Nicholas Good. He was very close to his wonderful sisters, Jane Kortko (Larry) and Liz Menard and their children, nephew Tom Kortko (Heather Salmon) and nieces Julie Jemmott (Hugh), Laura Menard (Patrick Duschene), Catherine Menard (Jeremy Cain) and Carolyn Menard. He was predeceased by his parents, Henrietta (Retta) and Eldon Good and his brother Melvin.
Ross was born in Toronto and graduated from U of T Dental School. His early retirement gave him and Louise many summers at their cottage in Muskoka (that he designed and built with the help of his friends and family), and winters in Florida. His retirement was busy with lots of carpentry – helping many friends and family with various building projects which he loved.
In lieu of flowers, if you wish, you may make a donation to the London Food Bank or a charity of your choice. A celebration of his remarkable life will be held at a later date pending relaxation of Covid measures.

Sending our thoughts and prayers. May your memories warm your hearts and let you feel his love. Rest In Peace Ross.
Our Condolences, Ross has been a big part of my life with many great memories given his wide range of interests that were very influential, he had a great yet subtle sense of humour and always took the time to ask about others before himself and share his thoughts and experiences to help or motivate you, I am forever grateful for the many family parties and events and weekends at the cottage particularly with Ross at the table playing ten thousand that he always made fun and will never be forgotten.
