Having both worked with Ron in Delivery Safety at Canada Post we have very fond memories of our days on the safety team in Huntsville and area With him Many stops for photo opportunities and great conversations. Ron will be missed by all. Sincere sympathy to his wife Cathy and family.
Rest in peace Ron. I'll always remember our trip to Toronto with Bob and Bruce when we were 17 years old. I think of you, your red Falcon and that trip every time I hear a Neil Diamond song! My condolences to you, Cathy and all the Matthys family.
Ron and I worked together for Canada Post Delivery Safety, and over 20 years ago in the London Plant. His sense of humour and love of Nascar races will be fondly remembered. My deepest condolences, Cathy, you'll be in my prayers.
Ron was my supervisor in St.Thomas P.O. We had the usual kind of s/v /employee relationship. He could be gruff and impatient. However it was at a get together after work one time that I was able to see the real Ron...congenial and kind. When he left St.Thomas we parted on good terms. He would occasionally pop in from time to time and we always shook hands. Ron,you left us far too soon. Mr prayers and condolences to the Mathis family.

I worked with Ron for several years during our delivery safety days and he could always make me smile. We shared allot of laughs especially over his computer which he did not get along with. Although sometimes he would come across as a little gruff he truly was a gentle soul. I am proud to have know you Ron you will be missed by all who knew and loved you My deepest sympathies Anna Hornburg
