It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Rocco on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the age of 81 years old. Cherished husband of Victoria for 55 years. Loving father of John (Vicki) and Nancey. Proud and devoted Nonno of Noah, Jacob and Caleb Vanderhoeven and Luke, Jared and Rhiannan Caldarozzi. Beloved son of the late Nunziata and Giovanni. Dear brother of Aldo (Vittoria) of Italy and the late Lucia DiLoreto (Raimondo). Rocco will be fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends in Canada, Italy and the United States. Visitation will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Monday, August 27, 2018 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. JOHN THE DIVINE PARISH, 390 Base Line Road West, London on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment at St. Peter’s Cemetery and Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Rocco are asked to consider the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
