Robert William Fraser
December 13, 2013
Robert William Fraser, in his 55th year, has passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at London Health Sciences Centre on December 13, 2013. Born December 10th, 1959, in Stratford Ontario, Bob was the youngest son of the late Jack “Rusty” and Edna Fraser. Bob leaves behind a loving family; Connie, Scott, Katie (Brian McCullough) and Shawn (Vicky Quinlan), who will always remember him as a man who took immense pride in his family. Bob will be dearly missed by his brother Tom (Suzanne) while joyously reunited with his eldest brother John, who undoubtedly helped usher him gracefully from this life (deceased 1982). He also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. Bob spent his career as a mortgage broker in London, and got his early start as the original “Repo Man” at Beneficial Finance. Bob’s life should not be measured in years alone, but rather in the memories he made with the people he loved. Bob lived a lot of life in his 55 years on this earth and he loved a lot of people. Those who knew him, knew he liked to live large. He liked big adventures and even bigger trucks. Winters spent on the snowmobile and summers spent on the water, Bob loved the outdoors and all the toys that made the open air even more enjoyable. His musical taste was completely stuck in the ’60s and recognized a great Elvis song when he heard it. We will best remember Bob for his jovial personality, his unfailing sense of humour and his deep, hearty laugh. Bob took pride in the relationships he built with friends, both old and new, and will be comforted in knowing he will always be remembered as the Bob who could make you smile. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bob are asked to consider the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.
We miss you already Big Guy!

Dear Connie, kids and family, Words alone cannot express our sadness when we heard about Bob's passing. He will be sorely missed by all who loved and knew him and is certainly indicated by the outpouring of sympathy above. Our fond memories are of laughter, drinks and fishing at the cottage. The stories the Fraser boys told us... priceless We hope that you and your family will find peace and comfort in knowing that his suffering is over. Bless you.

Sorry to hear of your loss, thinking of you
Connie our condolences to your family on Bob's passing. We had a chance to reflect on the weekend on the many memories we shared with you, Bob and the kids in the early days. Bob had a great sense of humour and one of our favorite remembrances was the "gourmet club" and how Bob could always attribute the appropriate ethnic qualification to one of Phil Collins ancestors so that his music always qualified to be played whether we were in Greece, Scotland, Italy or China. We treasure those memories and please know that our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
Dear Connie, Scott, Katie & Shawn: Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve the loss of Bob. Treasure the memories you have and they will sustain in the days ahead. Sincerely, Bill & Darlene Nater

I was sad, then I laughed. A friend for 30 years. So many stories. So many good times. Thank you for that Big Guy. Remember when... “took Bob to Blue Mountain for his first time skiing. He was attired in black bib snowmobile pants, snowmobile gloves and a thick all wool sweater with snowflakes and reindeers that his mom knit. It was clear early on that gravity, speed, inexperience, fearlessness (and some Tia Maria) would play a part that day. When he became airborne coming off the last plateau – we knew it was going to be spectacular. His twirling arms were straight out to the sides, a horror film screen coming from deep inside... he finally came to a stop ,the snow settled, and he untangled the snow fence from his skis and poles. He stood there looking like a huge vanilla ice cream with a black cone. “I still howl every time I think of it.
Dear Connie and family, so sorry to hear of your loss. Bob will be surely mssed by many, hold your good memories close to your hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, love Brian and Jackie
