Peacefully, at McGarrell Place on Thursday, November 26, 2015, in his 91st year. Beloved husband and companion to Nancy for 65 years. Father to Steven (Sandra) of Toronto, Katherine (Keith) of Wolfville, Nova Scotia, and Peter of Waterloo, Ontario. Loving grandfather ‘Bubba’ to Brittany, Kymberley, Hillary, Gregory and Simon. Brother-in-law to Janet McCulloch of London. Predeceased by his brother Richard ‘Dick’ and sister Helen ‘Alwy’ Pevler. Born in Exeter, Ontario, on October 27, 1925 to Canon Ashlyn Trumper and Helen Mary Trumper (née Dillon). Bob graduated from the University of Western Ontario in Honours Economics in 1949, where he also helped manage the Western Mustangs football team. Bob enjoyed a long career in the construction industry as owner of R.S. Trumper Roofing and Sheet Metal, and R.S. Trumper Construction Ltd. Bob was blessed with many lifelong friends and business associates. For Bob, family was the centre of his life, and there was no place he enjoyed more than the family cottage in Oakwood, Grand Bend (Lake Huron), that his father purchased in 1925, and is now enjoyed by the 4th generation of Trumpers. A special sincere thank you to Bob’s second family these past four years on the Harris Wing at McGarrell Place, providing him with extraordinary care and compassion until the very end. It was always pleasure to work with Uncle Bob on fixing an item or helping on a project. He always had the right tools and knew how to use them. Thank you for the memories.
Bubba will be fondly remembered for his wit, kindness, and for his love of his children and grandchildren. Many happy memories as his daughter in law and time spent at the cottage and Bob and Nancy's home in London and of course for his many "Bobisms." May he rest in peace.
Pavinee and I wish to extend our sincerest condolences to Peter and the Trumper family on the passing of Bob. Best wishes to you all at this sad time. Pavinee, Brian and Christine Hind

May the happiest memories you have of a great husband, loving father, proud grandpa be your comfort. May God bless and keep you in His grace. The McGarrell Place family and friends.
I'm very saddened to hear of Bob's passing. I always enjoyed a game of golf with him and his pal Don Hampson at the Hunt Club. Bob was a real asset to the Club. His big smile and outgoing personality made all those around him smile too. That's a very special gift. My thoughts are with you all.
With deepest sympathy from your friends at Elmwood Lawn Bowling in London.
