Peacefully with family by his side at Victoria Hospital, on Sunday, November 26, 2023, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Aili Elizabeth Sinisalo for 64 years. . Loving father of Grant, Dean, daughter-in-law Tracy and the late Gary. Cherished uncle to Brent, Leslea and Mark. Forever “Uncle Bob” to Penny, Courtney, Gracie, Dallas, Katie-Lynn, Emily, Tori, Brock, and Tyler. Predeceased by his brother, David (Grace).
A man who was blessed with a spirit of generosity and good nature, a love of family and friends, and his willingness to see the best in everybody. He made friends easily and kept in his heart those who he considered friends. He never met a stranger, only a friend in the making.
Bob is at peace, walking his beloved Abigail in the fields of Heaven.
A funeral service will be conducted at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday, December 10th, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior.

Aili, Bob's wife, is my father's sister, my aunt. I have met both Bob and Aili when they have visited in Finland. Bob was a nice and warm person with a good sense of humor. Because the distance between Finland and Canada is so long I never got to know Bob so very well. I send my warmest and deepest condolences to Aili and my cousins and the entire family.
I have known Bob since 1968. What a wonderful friend he was. It was always a great feeling whenever you were in the same room as Bob. He loved life and I loved his roaring laughter. I miss him and so will everyone who knew him. The memories will last forever. My sympathies go out to his entire family.

Dean, your Dad would have been so proud of you. I will miss Uncle Bob forever, but believe he is with all those that he loved that went before him. He always made me feel loved, as does Aunt Aili. A great man. We will always remember him and he will never be forgotten. He lives within our hearts.
