Robert ‘Bob’ Douglas Russell

After a courageous battle, Bob died peacefully on Friday, January 15th, at the age of 68. Loving partner of Bill Hall. Cherished father of Corey Russell (Tracy) and Casey Russell. Proud Papa of Sydney, Luke and Addison. Survived by his siblings Lynn Noonan and Michael Russell and his great-niece Lyndsay, nephews Trevor, Nelson and Devin and extended family outside of Canada. He was predeceased by his parents May (Rose) Lindsay and Nelson (Doc) Russell. A special thank you to Dr. Thurgood for her loving support over the years and the UH 5th floor staff for their exceptional care. He will be forever remembered for his sense of humour and love of life and the strength and bravery with which he faced his illnesses. Celebration of Life will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Inurnment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bob are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Lynn - I am sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I recall many trips with Bob to select hops in the U.S. and all the meetings with suppliers - always well organized and very professional. Condolences to you and your family. Cam.
Lynn:.............sorry to hear of Bob's passing!............we were co-workers at Labatt's London when Bob was in I.T. and I was in Ontario Acctg. He was always fun to be around and was very prompt and efficient when business problems needing solving during the month-end process! I am sure he will be sadly missed.....our sincere condolences to you and the family.
Your Anderson Ave neighbours remeber the wonderful times our families had together. You are in our thoughts, prayers and in our heart.
So sorry to hear this..Bob and I worked together for many of our earlier years and he taught me a lot. He worked hard and enjoyed his work, but he always gave you the impression you could have some fun doing it! Rest in peace my friend...bruce
