At University Hospital, London, on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, Mr. Robert “Bob” Allum, in his 94th year.
Beloved husband of Lorine Barrett-Allum, the late Mary Ann Allum (Needham) and the late Muriel Drew (Allum). Loving father of Susan Nomi (Ed) of Mississauga, David (Jane) of Waterloo, Brian (Sharon) of Mississauga, and Doug (Rose) of Barrie. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Bill, Frank, Fred, Dolly, Wally, and Hilda. Bob is survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Bob will be missed also by Lorine’s family: Pam Watson (Bill), Heather Abraham (Glen), and Scott Barrett (Cheryl).
Bob enjoyed a successful career with London Life Insurance Company, spanning some 35 years having started in 1952.
Visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., and will continue for the hour prior to the funeral service being conducted on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow with interment of ashes at Medway Cemetery.
