Robert “Bob” Allan Bond Tripp

April 25, 2025

1946 – 2025

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce our beloved Robert (Bob) passed away peacefully with family by his side on Friday, April 25, 2025 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, London in his 79th year. Bob was reunited with his beloved partner Peter Martin and his precious puppy Muffin. Predeceased by his parents George Tripp and Lydia Tripp (née Bond) and sister-in-law Flora Tripp (née Ferguson). Survived by his brothers Ian Tripp and Thomas Tripp (Karen). Also survived by his many nieces and nephews, Cynthia Strickland (Mark), David Tripp (Laura), Meredith Tripp, Allan Tripp (Lindsay), Eric Tripp (Julie), Christopher MacIver (Richelle). Bob will also be dearly missed by nine great-nieces, great-nephews, and many beloved friends.

Bob loved to travel, especially to Mexico, where he spent many winters and returned to spend summers boating on Georgian Bay. He also loved life, a good dinner party with family and friends, engaging people with great conversation, and having a tremendous sense of humour.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at a time and place to be determined.

Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bob are asked to consider St. Joseph’s Hospice or a charity of your choice.

My sincere condolences to Bob’s family and especially Tom and Karen. We enjoyed many great get togethers and dinners at OP. My last conversation with Bob I promised I would go to Kitchener to purchase some pig tails for our next dinner. Rest in peace, my friend.
