Passed quickly at Victoria Hospital on Thursday, March 26, 2020, with family by his side, Mr. Richard Sowa, of London, in his 78th year. Dear son of Frank Sr. and the late Emilie Sowa. Husband of the late Jane (Barnhill) (2015). Loving Dad of Emilie (Robert) Bailey, of Mossley, Frank Sowa (Leeanne Brown), of Port Franks, and Richard Sowa Jr. (late Loretta), of London. Dear brother of Sonja Sowa, of St. Albert, Alberta. Proud Grandpa of Sheila, Johnathan, Daniel, Grace and Emma; and great-grandfather of Arianna and James. Survived also by his many nieces and nephews. A private family visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. Respecting the COVID-19 pandemic protocols, visitation can only be done by invitation. Please note: the funeral home can ONLY admit people on this list to a maximum of 10 people as per the directive of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, >https://thebao.ca/registrars-directive/. Private interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. My condolences to the Sowa family, I knew Frank for many years and shared many stories and jokes between us. He will be missed by many people.
So sorry to hear of Richard's passing. My condolences to your families. I shared many happy times with Richard at 3M when we worked in the lab and when he was foreman in A&C.
