With much sadness, the family announces the passing of Richard Ko Yanoshita. He passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 1, 2024
at L.H.S.C. Victoria Hospital in his 90th year. He was the son of Torakuma and Hatsume Yanoshita. Richard was the beloved husband of 61 years to Mary née Aihoshi. Loving father to David (Jacqui) and Kim (Mark) Bray. Loving Grandfather to Alex, Dawson, Davis and Jasmine. They were his pride and joy. He will be missed by his only surviving sibling, sister Miyoko Hoyano of Montreal.
Richard loved golf and was a member of Sunningdale Golf Club.
Cremation has taken place, and a service will take place at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Friday, May 10, 2024. Visitation will take place at 2:00 p.m., with a funeral service being held at 3:00. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the London Food Bank.

I still remember boating with all of you when I was a kid - so much fun. Dear Yanoshita Family, our sympathies for your loss. Nancy and Brian Hoyano A remembrance- Visiting the farm in Chatham too long ago, (if I remember correctly) he was driving around in a convertible and we thought he was a young god.
We are so sad to hear of our beloved uncle’s passing and are so sorry for your loss. We send our sincerest condolences. He will always be in our hearts.
