EVANS, Ralph Holliday – Son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Ralph Holliday Evans died peacefully at Parkwood Hospital, London, on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at the age of 87. Most wonderful husband and best friend of Marjory (Simpson). Amazing father of Tom (Jan) Evans of Georgetown; Donna (Gary) Proctor of Cumming, Georgia; and Diane (George) Bates of London. Adored grandfather of Paul, Colin, Eric, Megan, Lindsay, Kaitlin and Alex and great-grandpa of Joab, Kai, Lila, Liam and Abby. Predeceased by his daughter Janice Evans (1972) and parents Fred and Ida Evans. Survived by brother Roger, sisters Evelyn and Ann, and sisters-in-law Marion Simpson and Theresa Simpson. Ralph was a member of Bomber Command Association and a Past President of the London South Lions Club. Ralph was an inspiration and a joy to his family and many friends. A father figure to all, truly one of a kind. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Sunday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. where the memorial service will be conducted on Monday, April 19, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
