Alex, Jay and families. We are so very sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved mother and grandmother. George and I have many fond memories of the times we spent with all of you. Including our trip to Thailand. Lam is now resting with her Lord in peace.
Although I didn't know Poon Lam well, I was blessed to spend some time with her. When my wife and I first came to the Oneida Longterm Care facility 3 years ago as the new pastor of Oneida Baptist church, we were surprised to discover Poon Lam was from the same village of my wife Esther's own mother, that being Shantou, and we're blessed that Esther could communities her in her native tongue. She even attended some of our church services in the Home. She was an amazing woman and will be greatly by any and all who knew her and loved her. Our condolences to the family! 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

Alex and Jay and family. So sorry to read of Lams passing. I was just thinking of her the other day. You are blessed to have had her in your lives for so long. Unfortunately we winter in Florida and are unable to attend the service. We will keep you in our thoughts.
