Philip ‘Ivan’ Routley

Peacefully at University Hospital on Friday, March 16, 2018, Ivan Routley of London in his 90th year. Cherished father of Ruth-Ellen (Ed), Susan (Scott), Jo-Anne (John), Brenda (Dave), Patti (Dave), Chris (Brenda), and John (Melissa). Proud Grandpa of Eric, Amy, Sean, Graham, Brianne, Mady, Ava, Emma, Ryan, Mike, Josh, Tessa, Christine, Cameron and 11 great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by his siblings Louise (Ron), Jim (Anne) and Larry (Lynne). Remembered fondly by his sisters-in-laws Joyce and Sandi, and his many nieces and nephews. Ivan is predeceased by brothers Don, Bill and Garry. A memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ivan are asked to consider Jumpstart or a charity of your choice.

My deepest condolences to the Family. Please remember this is not what God intended for mankind to suffer and to die. In the Bible, there are recorded 9 resurrections. This includes the resurrection of Jesus Christ himself. He promised to resurrect those who have fallen asleep in death and Phillip Routley could be part of the resurrection, please read John:28, 29 and Acts 24:15. God loves you and your family. My condolences to Ivan's family. I worked with him at Canadian Tire. Although somewhat crusty on the outside, he had a heart of gold. I will always remember him and thank him for his support.
