Peter Stanley Riffel

It is with great sadness that the family of Peter Stanley Riffel announces his passing, on Sunday, January 24, 2021, at the age of 90 years. Peter will be lovingly remembered by his son, Michael (Janine), and his grandchildren Jake (Eve) and Laura (Kirk). Peter was predeceased by his lovely wife Patricia Riffel. He will be dearly missed by his extended family, including his dear friend Daryl Danek. The family would like to thank Heather Cooper for her kindness and support. As per the family wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place later this spring at Holy Cross Cemetery in Toronto.

When I was a teenager learning how to coach, Pete was always there with tips about baseball, tips about interacting with the kids, or a kind word for whoever he felt needed it that day. He helped me far more than I realized. My condolences to Jake, Mike and the rest of the family.
