Penny Abel

Peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Thursday, May 13th, 2010, with family and friends at her side, Miss Penny Abel of London in her 58th year. Daughter of the late Mary and Douglas Abel. Survived by her sisters, Nancy (Don) Edwards of London, Helen (Terry) Lazaravitch of Bayfield, Dave (Karen) Abel of Granton, John (Kim) Abel of Lambeth and Garry Abel of London. Also survived by her uncle Tom (Donelda) England of London, by her aunts Marie (Harry) Burnes, Lynn (Ron) Topping and Doris England all of London as well as her many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by her good friends of many years, Janet and Jim Barrow of London and Marilyn and Bill Leedham of Kitchener. A special thank you to Dr. Schreier and all the staff in Palliative Care for their warmth and compassion. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, May 17th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Kate Hathaway officiating. Cremation and inurnment at Woodland Cemetery.
