The overwhelming sadness I feel for the Blizzard family is beyond words. I cannot ever begin to understand the depth of your pain and feelings of loss right now. While it has been years since I saw Paul, we had reconnected in late years through FB and it was wonderful to be in contact with each other again. I have very fond memories of Paul from out younger days. I will absolutly miss hearing from him. To Sally and the entire family I just want to let you know you are not alone in your grief. Paul will be missed by many. My condolences to you all.
I was very shocked and saddened to hear of Paul's passing. I worked with Paul in Halifax which is where I met him. We became close friends and he stayed with my family for a period of time. My kids called him "Uncle Paul". He was like family to us. we spent many Saturdays at peddlers pub listening to Kenny, Alex and the swell guys. I will miss you my friend. My condolences go out to the Blizzard family. My heart will ache for a very long time. Rest in peace my friend
I was so saddened to hear of Paul's passing. I will forever miss our great conversations about sports and everything else. Since the first time I've met him, he was always my favorite person to talk to at the bar, I would always sit next to him when I saw him and vice versa. Paul was such a sweet, kind and gentle person, he wouldn't even hurt a fly. He was one of a kind. He will be forever missed in my heart. My condolences go out to all his family members and close friends. Rest in peace Paul,. Love you man wish I could of been a better friend.
My sincere condolences to Paul's family. I knew Paul from school in Greenwood. A kind and thoughtful person.
So sorry to hear this sad news. Our sincere sympathy to the family. Rest in peace Paul - gone too soon Deb and Dar
I have tried several times to write condolences here for Paul's family and I struggle to find the right words. I lived with Paul, we worked together, we drank a lot of beer together. I have countless amazing memories of our years together. He was much more than a friend, he was like family. He was one of my favourite people, I loved him very much. We argued over/debated pretty much everything: Dire Straits vs. Spoons, Letterman VS SNL, Boxing VS Anything else on TV...I trusted him to 'tell it like it is', even if sometimes I didn't want to hear it. He cared. He was so funny, so brilliant...I always told him he should be on the radio with that sharp wit and amazing bingo caller voice of his. I don't like to think of a world without him. I am so sad for all of his family. Thinking of you all. Wendy
Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family, Sally, on this sad occasion.May God bless you all and keep you in the palm of his hand.
Sally, Sharon, Kathy and Jim please accept my heartfelt condolences on Paul's passing. He was a very special person. When I think of Paul the most salient thing that comes to mind is his perpetually smiling face. One of my most cherished memories growing up in Greenwood is of Paul and I running up Tremont Mountain on a scorching hot blue sky summer day. Even then he was still smiling. And I am sure he still is.
Kathy (Jim) and the entire Blizzard Family, we are so sorry to hear about the sudden passing of your loved one Paul. May He Rest In Peace (RIP) and fond family memories of him sustain you. Al & Bonnie MacInnis Tremont, NS

I remember Paul being a great friend to Lynn and our family. I was Lynn and Sandra's little brother and to Paul, that mean't he looked out for me. That was a very good feeling.
So sad to hear this news. I remember Paul's great smile, his intelligence and quick wit. My thoughts are with Sally, Kathy, Sharon and all his family and friends at this difficult time. May the memories you share bring you peace.
Condolences to family and friends. I haven't seen Paul for a long time, but always think of him fondly - one of my best friends from WK. I have so many great memories of working with him at Lake George and his antics during chemistry class. He was always fun to be around.

I can't put into words how much this hurts. Thinking about his daughters and everyone who loved him. Michael & Chemine
I am in total shock....many great memories of Paul from high school and Dalhousie. Still remember him as a roommate at Fenwick with him John and Bob. My thoughts are with the family....
Dear Sally, Kathy & Family - so sorry to hear of Paul's passing! You are in our thoughts and prayers. Love June & Greg OXOXO
My heartfelt condolences to all of Paul's family. The Aylward Clan and Blizzard clan went through West Kings together. For me, Paul was one of the good guys. Always kind, really funny, and super smart -he made my WK life so much more bearable . Our ongoing arguments about whether Boxing was a real sport or not led to many practical jokes. We kept in touch intermittently at Dalhousie University and I could always count on a welcoming hug whenever I ran into Paul. To live , to laugh, to love....
Wow! What a shame I grew to know Paul working together at Kellogg's for many years! Such a great guy! Had great laughs at break table and talking about our kids. That's when you really saw that infectious smile of Paul's. So sorry for your loss. (our loss) he was a good man!
So sad to hear this news. I have so many fond memories of Paul-both from our days in Greenwood and our time together at Dal. He always looked out for me. My sincerest condolences to the family.
