Pat Copeland

Unexpectedly but peacefully on Tuesday, July 31st, 2012 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital at the age of 66. Beloved husband of Maureen Copeland. Loving father of Paul Copeland of Rothesay, New Brunswick, Brian Copeland of Woodstock and Dr. Julie Copeland of Kilworth. Predeceased by his son Neil Copeland (2007), parents Patrick and Teresa Copeland and sisters Anne (2011) and Gerardine (infancy). Survived by brother Jim and sisters Mary, Esther and Margaret and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive family and friends at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, August 4th, 2012 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. for visitation followed by the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Private interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer Outreach Services of McCormick Home would be appreciated.

Dear Maureen and Family It is with great sorow to hear about Pats passing, as a long time colleaugue of Pat I obviously have very fond memories of him. We had great times together at SJSL and put a few ships to sea as well. These were good times. Dear Maureen, Paul, Brian and Julie, I find I am at a loss for words.I was so sorry for your loss. Pat was a true husband, father and friend. You have all been in my thoughts and prayers during this sad and difficult time. Even though you know, the shock is still there. It is easy to say "Time Heals", and it helps, so hang in.
